2019 11th Annual
Women in the Wild 
  April 27 & 28, 2019  
Mission Statement: To provide women who participate with a safe and fun environment in which to familiarize themselves with some of the many outdoor recreational opportunities in the Coastal Bend.

Goals:
  • To empower women by teaching them new skills.
  • To encourage networking among women with like interests that will provide a support group in further endeavors.
  • To create a stress free environment for women to enjoy the learning process without the pressure to master any one thing but enabling familiarization in new skills.
About the Event
This is a Texas Outdoors Woman Network (TOWN) Rockport Chapter event in partnership with Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and our many sponsors and guest instructors. Membership in TOWN is not required in order to participate in this event.  

The 2019 event will be split between two beautiful and amazing venues.  Saturday will be at the historic Port Bay Hunting & Fishing Club and Sunday at Camp Aranzazu

Check-in will be Friday, April 26, from 5-7 PM at Winery on the Bay.  Late arrivals may check-in early Saturday morning at Port Bay Hunting & Fishing Club.  Our Saturday mixer will be held at Poor Man's Country Club. 
Registration
Registration will be accepted by mail only with the accompanying registration form and full payment.  

Early Registration: $135 per participant for entries postmarked through February 28. 
Regular Registration: $160 per participant for entries postmarked March 1-31. 
Late Registration: $175 per participant for entries postmarked April 1-12.  

The event is limited to ladies 18 and up and there are a limited number of spots available.  Registration closes April 12 or when we reach 100 entries, whichever occurs first.  

Entry fee includes participation in three (3) of the listed classes, event shirt and other giveaways, lunch and snacks on Saturday and Sunday, dinner on Saturday night at the mixer and non-alcoholic beverages throughout. Event coordinators will try to ensure diverse meal options to accommodate anticipated dietary needs however, if you have specific needs, please feel free to bring your own meals and/or drinks.  

Once your registration is received an informational packet will be sent via email as confirmation of registration.  Your final class list will not be released until you arrive at check in.

This is a day camp situation, lodging is NOT provided. If you need overnight lodging there are many great hotels and cottages that you may reserve in the Rockport area.  Please visit the Rockport-Fulton Chamber of Commerce at www.rockport-fulton.org for available accommodations. 

Alternative group lodging is available through our partnership with Rockport Warriors United. They are once again opening their retreat up to our wild women looking for a unique lodging experience.  To help support their mission, we ask that you consider a reasonable $25 donation per night. Cancellation Policy: 

Any cancellations received prior to April 1, 2019 will receive a refund minus a $35 fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations after April 1, 2019.
